Greetings from Snow Camp Fire & Rescue! We are located in central NC, our district covers 140 sq. miles, we are a volunteer dept. that offers not only fire and rescue, but we also have a dive team and a NASAR certified search and rescue team. District 10 Firefighters Association (FFA) met at the Rolling Hills Station in Montgomery, Wed, 24 May 2000. The association consists of Bullock, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, and Russell Counties. We discussed hydrant issues, a District 10 project, and the Federal $5 billion dollar fire bill before congress. All firefighters and EMS personnel are welcome to attend our functions. We meet about two weeks after the AFC RCFP Steering Committe meeting. We are an grass roots information exchange organization, working with the AFC, AAVFDs, and RCFPI for the advancement of fire and rescue issues in our district.
